Professional experience in the Oil & Gas sector, low carbon and energy transition sectors. My involvement in several concept and development studies has given me a diverse project portfolio, encompassing complex assessments, design, and innovation in the application of industry standards. Key projects and responsibilities include:- Extensive freespan screening limit checks and detailed fatigue assessments for a +230km pipeline with over 5000 freespans.- Optioneering report, analysing both conventional and new technologies that could meet specific power demands of a not permanently attended offshore installation.- On-bottom stability and free span fatigue analyses of existing and new pipelines in deep/shallow water conditions, utilising higher-order wave models for accurate design wave velocities.- Rock dumping designs aimed at crossings, pipeline protection, and free span corrections, including rock berm stability against currents and waves.- HPHT pipe-in-pipe, riser, spool mechanical design focused on wall thickness, on-bottom stability, expansion, and upheaval buckling.- Mechanical design for a new +300km pipeline for carbon capture and storage under several content flow rate scenarios. Delineated pipeline routing constraints based on relevant local and national regulations, and EU directives.- Innovation/update of several engineering tools, integrating Mathcad Prime with Excel/Python for parametric analyses, and updating tools according to DNV, NORSOK, ISO, among others.

As a Research Data Manager at the University of Sheffield, I was responsible for managing and curating data for the Rosetta Stone research network on experimental debris flows. During my six-month tenure, I set up a repository to provide open-access to raw and interpreted data for the international research network.

As a Research Assistant at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, I served as a co-supervisor for a student's engineering project related to the wake characterization of vortex-induced vibrations on flexible cylinders.During my six-month tenure, I developed a comprehensive research plan with clear goals, regular deliverables, and expected outcomes. Additionally, I coordinated biweekly meetings with the student and provided guidance throughout the project.

Integral monitoring and development of self-sustainable water network systems in rural areas of Santa Barbara, Chile.• Provided technical support to 12 social organisations on government funding applications, and property and legal water rights for their water projects.• Designed three drinkable water systems with a total network extension of 43 km and 300 households. These projects were submitted to government funds for a total of half a million dollars.• Coordinated and communicated the interests of 12 rural organisations regarding their water network projects to the municipality and forestry companies. From this, the forestry companies assisted with technical studies, equipment and funding, and the municipality oversaw the legal requirements needed for the water system project.• Author of “The water path”: Introductory document for new professionals describing the main stages related to self-sustained water network systems in rural areas.
