For every item Amazon.com sells across its three continents, my team was responsible for predicting whether any vendor (foreign or domestic) could provide said item and how long it would take for them to do so. That way, the optimal vendor could be chosen for ordering. My team was also tasked with calculating: how soon open purchase orders will be filled, how long every vendor will require to prepare its products for shipment, and the current vendor inventory level at all of our suppliers around the globe.

Researched modern naval mine warfare extensively. Designed, documented, and began implementation of a computational model for optimized naval mine clearance operations. Analyzed an appendix to a classified DOD document and briefed supervisor on contents.

Performed molecular oncology research at the Duchossois Cancer Research Center. Completed five investigations (over three summers) into causes and treatments of myeloid/lymphoid leukemia (MLL) using bacteria and yeast models.Gained fluency with most modern molecular biochemical research techniques, such as DNA sequencing, recombination, and RNA and protein assays. Gained expertise in hazard and contaminant control through continuous work with radioactive, neurotoxic, and biohazardous (bacterial/viral/fungal) compounds.
