Located on an existing 1.05 acre hotel site. Design responsibilities included project entitlement, grading, stormwater, utility design and EWEB electrical coordination. VIASAT CAMPUS EXPANSIONBressi Ranch, Carlsbad, CA Carlsbad campus expansion on 23 acre vacant land, included full build-out design of 6 tilt-up office buildings, 3 parking garages, amenity and recreation building as well as extensive retaining wall, landscape, hardscape and public improvements. THE SHOPS AT LA JOLLA VILLAGE3360 Nobel Drive, La Jolla, CA Redevelopment of an existing 15-acre retail shopping center. The completed project included the demolition of a third of the existing site and construction of multiple large retail and restaurant buildings, the reworking of the complete parking lot and retrofitting for current stormwater standards. CIVITA RECREATION CENTERCommunity Lane, San Diego, CA Recreation center and pool improvements, part of the larger Civita residential planned community. The completed project includes the construction of the main recreation center structure, two large pools, a pool building, park areas, numerous large retaining walls and a parking lot. OUTLETS AT THE BORDER4445-4463 Camino De La Plaza, San Diego, CA6.4 acre, commercial shopping center located near the I-5 US/Mexico border crossing in the San Ysidro neighborhood of San Diego. Included the construction of four new structures, parking lot and various offsite public improvements. PORTOLA HILLS NORTHWEST 81 LOT DEVELOPMENT Saddleback Ranch Road/Glenn Ranch Road, Lake Forest, CA24.8 acre, 81 lot residential development located in the City of Lake Forest. Provided construction documents for rough grading, public and private improvements, storm drain improvements and IRWD sewer/water permitting. EL SEGUNDO HAMPTON INN & SUITES888 N. Sepulveda Blvd, El Segundo, CA5 story hotel with underground parking garage located in the City of El Segundo. Dense site that included the coordination and design of an underground detention structure and multiple dry wells. Provided grading and Caltrans public improvement plans for permit.

HSR Grade Crossing Acquisition Program│Chicago to St. Louis High Speed Rail ProgramAs part of Parson Brinkerhoff’s program management team, I served as the project manager supervising the HSR Program's railroad-highway grade crossing land acquisition process with the overall purpose of acquiring right-of-way for multiple "High Risk" grade crossings along the existing Union Pacific Railroad corridor. Responsible for the coordination of a diverse team of public relations officers, land acquisition specialists, and signal design engineers. Taxiway WQ Reconstruction│O’Hare International AirportManaged and provided design, as the lead consultant, for the reconstruction of Taxiway WQ located at O’Hare International Airport; an abandoned 2,400 LF Taxiway that required pavement, drainage, and electrical improvements. Construction admin responsibilities included attending pre-construction meetings, reviewing submittals, answering RFI’s, and various as-needed design revisions. Runway 9C-27C Advanced Engineering Design│O’Hare International AirportServed as a project engineer for the electric utility design of the Runway 9C-27C project located at O’Hare International Airport. Responsible for the coordination and design of 25,000+ LF of concrete encased ductbank holding various airfield lighting and communication cables including Runway Status Lights, Runway Guard Lights, Fiber Optic Transmission Cable (FOTS), Commonwealth Edison electrical, AT&T telephone, and additional FAA Runway and Taxiway circuits.Additional Job Responsibilities:•Provided design and project management services for the rehabilitation of two local roads, including roadway, grading, drainage, and ADA ramp design for the Chicago Department of Transportation.•Coordinated the submittal of an RFQ for airport engineering design services for the Chicago Department of Aviation at O’Hare International Airport.

Greater Seattle Area

Served as the on-site Structural Construction Field Engineer for two large $300+ million dollar concrete office buildings/parking garages for Microsoft Corporation and Nintendo of America located in Redmond, WA. Project Specific Highlights:•Organized and facilitated meetings to align the expectations and goals with the Engineer, Architect, and Contractor for the structural aspects of both projects prior to initiating construction•Managed the submittal review process for six major structural subcontractors (concrete, rebar, post tension cable, and stud-rail fabrication, rebar placement, and concrete form, place, and finish)•Interacted daily with the structural engineer of design to solve on site issues•Tracked financial costs to ensure the amount of material delivered matched the amount of material placed for construction•Validated that the subcontractors’ work met their contractual obligations in order to close out their contracts

Tucson, Arizona Area

Served as a Civil Engineer Intern working closely with licensed structural and transportation engineers on multiple private and municipal engineering design projects within the City of Tucson and throughout the state of Arizona.Project Specific Highlights:•Assisted in the field evaluation and production of construction documents for the rehabilitation of approximately 2 miles of existing sidewalks to meet City of Tucson and ADA standard requirements•Provided on-site structural inspections and subsequent reports for multiple historical landmarks in Arizona, including the Lake Havasu London Bridge, St. Augustine Cathedral Office Building, and the Rillito Park Race Track grandstand and stables
