In this role, I support new business initiatives at various stages along the innovation lifecycle through budgeting, financial forecasting, and building/vetting business cases and financial models for the purposes of securing internal and/or external investment.In my last role, I worked for Fannie Mae as a Lead Associate on the Single-Family Revenue Forecast team. As a member of the forecast team, I created and vetted assumptions, executed and maintained complex models, analyzed forecast results, provided review of analysis, and presented the results and key takeaways to senior executives. In addition to forecasting, our team provided support & guidance to senior leadership and the business regarding how different decisions/scenarios would impact our P&L.Prior to that, I worked for KPMG in their Economic and Valuation Services practice. I primarily performed business and asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, and tax compliance purposes for Fortune 500, mid-market, and start-up companies by developing complex financial models using discounted cash flow analyses, trading multiples, and precedent transactions. I gained experience working on deals in the renewable energy, defense and aerospace, biotech/pharma, industrial manufacturing, tech, and media industries. My main area of focus and expertise was in renewable energy, where I spent the majority of my time conducting market research, building complex financial models, and managing teams on engagements in order to provide value estimates to our clients.Through these experiences, I have obtained advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, project management, and data analysis. I am proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, S&P Capital IQ, and Tableau. I have a basic working knowledge of SAP, SQL, SAS, and VBA programming languages.
