Founder & Lead Financial PlannerWise Stewardship Financial Planning Nov 2018 - PresentA fee-only, fiduciary financial planning and investment management firm helping young widowed spouses and servicemembers have peace of mind and confidence in their financial lives.Wise Stewardship Financial Planning takes a holistic approach, focusing on helping clients navigate their financial lives. My personal philosophy on money can best be summed up with the concept of stewardship, hence where the name of the company came from. A dictionary definition of stewardship is “the responsible overseeing and protection of something considered worth caring for and preserving.” Another word we often use in this same concept as it relates to finances today is fiduciary.I believe I have a broad responsibility of being a wise steward of the many blessings, not just financial, that I have been given. First and foremost, I have that responsibility to God to use His abundant provision with an eternal perspective. I must be mindful to not separate God’s gifts from His purpose … He has so blessed me so I can bring honor and glory to Him and be a blessing to others! Secondly, I have a responsibility to provide and care for my family with wise planning for our finances. Lastly, I have a responsibility to all those whom I am privileged to work with and educate including each and every client. I make a promise that I will apply those same fiduciary principles of stewardship to everything I do. -

Air Battle ManagerUnited States Air Force Jun 2009 - Feb 2018Air Battle Managers (ABM) are primarily responsible for command and control and, as their title implies, battle management. Their primary duty is to ensure the day-to-day air mission is executed. These duties depend on the overall military operation. For air-to-air engagement, using either airborne or land-based radars, ABMs ensure combat aircraft find, identify, and destroy their targets by providing the pilots with a "big picture" that increases their situational awareness. ABMs can provide early warning for inbound enemy aircraft and direct friendly assets to intercept them. As their title implies, ABMs control the air battlespace. To ensure the air mission is completed, ABMs aid the fight, they keep track of all the assets in the area of operations to ensure de-confliction, safety of flight for all friendly aircraft, and expedite tactical mission execution. Although ABMs do not—and are not qualified to—serve as air traffic controllers, their role in de-confliction and flight safety makes air traffic control the closest civilian analogue to the ABM's role.Performed command & control, intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance (C2ISR) onboard the E-8C JSTARS aircraft. Employed mission sensor capabilities and E-8C primary mission equipment, communications & data links to find/fix/track/target/engage/assess enemy ground movement and coordinate real-time target development. Deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation NEW DAWN, and Operation MARTILLO directly supporting joint and coalition forces on over 100 combat and combat support missions. -
