As senior venture builder I lead the Dutch team of venture builders at Enviu. Within that team we are developping two programs that work towards systemic change through entrepreneurship. Circular Maritime Technologies International makes ship dismantling circular, safe and competitive. Offering a unique combination of process and technology, we enable ships to be taken apart so all elements can be reused at their highest residual value.The main product of the CMT yard is clean, homogenous scrap steel, a critical ingredient on the road to clean steel production. The ecosystem of CMT International therefore consists of actors along the entire value chain, from ship builders, fleet owners to machine providers, financial institutions, steel manafacturers and metal recyclers.

I led the creation and implementation of the Arcadis global innovation framework. The framework harmonizes and coordinates the (digital) innovation approach for Arcadis worldwide.As a global company with a legacy of over 100 years, at Arcadis we need to constantly innovate to stay the frontronner in our business. Especially with the digital revolution that is rapidly transforming our business. Therefore I brought together our innovation professionals and created the Arcadis Innovation Framework together with them. One of the main elements of the framework is the global innovation platform Quick Launch that went live in May 2020. Quick Launch is the Arcadis innovation program that is facilitated by a digital environment. It enables people to quickly submit ideas, work together with experts and innovation professionals to properly screen them and work them into validated value added propositions. For the company it works as an engagement tool as well as idea clearing house. Building on elements of LEAN Startup and Design Thinking, all countries in Arcadis now work with the same process steps, governance bodies and data environment. This gives us unprecedented opportunities to work together in a global Arcadis innovation community.

Bid manager and writer for must-win, cross-company bids for Arcadis Netherlands. Next to delivering winning bids I also helped to professionalize our bid approach through workshops, coaching and example setting. Example: going out with a bang. The final bid I submitted before moving to Arcadis Gen was a framework agreement with Rijkswaterstaat on a national river programme (KRW-Oost Nederland). It was a joined effort with Antea Group and was one of the biggest bids I worked on. I came on while the bid was already underway, with the remit to kickstart and restructure the writing process. This was successful, as the resulting plan was one of the deciding factors that gave us the win.

As management consultant I helped clients with difficult questions. Mostly these questions involved complex processes, various stakeholders with views that did not necessarily match, organizational restructuring and growing autonomy through learning. Example projects:1. Process Manager for Delft MunicipalityThe 'Spoorzone' is a major project in the city of Delft. This requires a tight cooperation between the external project organisation and the municipality. As process manager I facilitate the cooperation and coordinate the transition of the project organisation back to the standing municipal organisation.2. Tender support and management consultancy for Alliander Liandon aimed to win a large framework agreement of TenneT TSO B.V. We consulted and supported the tender team in creating the winning offer and helped to build an organisation to successfully execute the work.

Project manager and project management consultant for infrastructural projects for clients like TenneT, Rijkswaterstaat, Municipalities and Water Boards. Example project: Project Manager of Earthing Concept Southern Netherlands for TenneT TSOBecause of a concept change Arcadis creates the earthing designs for all the 110 kV substations and towers in Zeeland, Brabant and Limburg. As project manager I lead the project teams and coordinate the project with TenneT.

Executive Producer of Rheingold on the Rhine, the music theatre event in the cargo hold of a freight ship. Key responsibilities:- General vision and direction of the project- Managing the production team- Development of risk strategies- Managing the budget- Support and guide fundraising, technical production and marketing- Relation management with partners, sponsors, advisors and crew- National and international media appearances- Development of the show 'The Wagner Experience'

Responsible for the fundraising and organisation of the tour of the Dutch National Student Orchestra through the Netherlands and to Istanbul and Bursa, Turkey. The Dutch National Students Orchestra, or NSO, is a truly unique orchestra. The orchestra only exists in february, when 100 Dutch students from all over the country leave their regular studies for one month and plunge into the world of professional music making. After ten days of rehearsals, a concert tour through the Netherlands best known concert halls and a trip to a foreign country make the NSO year complete.
