A Kinross/Echo Bay Mines & Homestake/Barrick joint venture.• Managed mine site engineering and construction management group for a 100 million ton per year open-pit gold mine. • Championed the initiation and management of a mine design optimization that yielded a $100 million improvement to project NAV (based on $400 gold).• Reconfigured mine plans and gold processing methodology that resulted in a near-doubling of annual gold production with minimal additional capital expenditure. • Directed mine planning, mine design, LOM budgeting, truck dispatch implementation and operation, water management , process system design optimization, reclamation planning and capital replacement analysis.
