Daniel has been in a leadership role for over 20 years. He transitioned into a supervisory role shortly after leaving his clinical experience as a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. Since then, Daniel has supervised large and small groups ranging from 15 to 190 professionals. He has a collaborative and supportive style and is comfortable engaging at all levels of the organization. Daniel developed and launched the first successful Health Exchange in New Jersey, with over 100 interconnected physicians and five hospitals years before the Affordable Care Act made it a requirement. He implemented the first 10-gigabyte network in a US Hospital to improve the clinician experience and invented an RFID Medication Administration process which greatly reduced medication errors and enhanced nursing documentation. Most recently, Daniel took the lead in the organizational strategy to address the needs of the hearing-impaired population. by implementing a LOOP/T-COIL induction systems in every registration point, physician offices, treatment rooms, and public spaces. As a result, Daniel’s organization is the first health system in the state to offer comprehensive hearing assistance to those with an impairment. Concomitantly, he helped develop a model of a Digital Front Door intending to attract future potential patients by putting “online” much of the functionality usually conducted in person, including virtual visits and follow-up care.
