Partner at Frost Brown Todd LLP with a focus on state and local tax (SALT) and incentive matters, particularly in manufacturing, distilled spirits, renewable energy, agribusiness and other energy-intensive industries. I also advise clients in the alcohol industry on various other matters, including federal and state licensing and regulatory issues.I am a leader of FBT's Manufacturing Industry Team, including heading up its Consumable & Regulated Goods subteam which oversees all alcohol, tobacco, hemp, cannabis, food and beverage clients, as well as on FBT's Technology and Innovation Committee and Blockchain subteam due to my experience with e-commerce, digital products, cryptomining and other technology-based products and businesses.I have a great deal of experience in SALT planning, controversy and incentives, including property tax, sales/use tax, excise tax, income tax, employment tax and local business tax.
