Workers United represents 10,000 workers across Canada, and over 150,000 more across the United States, advocating on a range of economic and social issues including decent minimum wages, stronger labour protections, racial and income equality, migrant rights, and improving garment factory conditions in countries around the world.Daniel served as a Research Analyst helping to develop programs designed to support labour equality. This included conducting industry analyses, corporate, regulatory and legal history research used to support collective bargaining negotiations, and develop national awareness campaigns. Daniel led the Made in Canada campaign, which aimed to limit the outsourcing of hockey manufacturing jobs, and reached a national audience through press conferences, pint media and social media outreach.
