Researched, prototyped and implemented a React based progressive web app for browsing and viewing multimedia content with a specific emphasis on advanced caching capabilities and efficient network usage. A key design goal of the application was to optimize network and cache design since users of the application would often be located in areas of the world with limited or unreliable internet connectivity.This application was created using numerous React tools and utilizes libraries such as i18next and the Cache API. The prototype also utilized GraphQL (AWS Appsync) and various AWS other services such as S3, DynamoDB, Amplify and IAM to store dynamically changing content.Also as part of the project planning I researched and identified the optimal React libraries for the project that would guarantee consistent compatibility with Web, Apple iOS and Android using a common codebase.
