I currently lead two orgs, spread across multiple time zones (NYC, DUB, US Remote):* The Market Expansion engineering organization, which helps drive Squarespace’s product expansion to new geographies and new market segments. This currently encompasses the International and Enterprise business lines.* The Internal Platform engineering organization, which helps enable the revenue and efficiency goals of the greater cross-functional Squarespace team by building tools and workflows for Marketing, Customer Operations, HR and IT.I also manage a small, focused team of 2 Principal Engineers and 1 Staff Engineer focused on CMS architecture.

I was the Senior Engineering Manager of the Platform and Product International Engineering teams. I was previously the Engineering Manager, Staff Engineer / Team Lead and a founding engineer of the International Engineering effort.As one of two founding engineers of the International Engineering effort, I helped architect and deploy our internal suite of I18N code libraries, translation workflows, and application abstractions around managing locales, languages, and localized formatting. I returned to the management track to lead our growth to two full-stack teams encompassing 9 total ICs, an engineering manager, a product manager and product designer. As a uniquely horizontal discipline across engineering, product, design, marketing, customer operations and strategy, I took inputs from a wide array of cross-functional stakeholders to serve as the Engineering owner of the Platform and Product International strategy both internally and in monthly meetings with the C-suite.
