I'm excited to share that I am serving as the Web Master for the 2024 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from December 8 to 12, 2024. This flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society is dedicated to advancing innovations in communications technologies and will feature a high-quality technical program, tutorials, workshops, and an industry program with keynotes and panels from leaders across research, industry, and government.As the Web Master, my role involves maintaining and updating the GLOBECOM website, ensuring that all content is accurate and up to date. I work closely with the Marketing team to manage images and content approvals and coordinate with key committee members to ensure the correct scheduling, dates, and event details are reflected on the site. This includes obtaining certification of “AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials” and “AWS Business Professional” from AWS, Certification from the Python institute by completing the “Python Essentials 1 & 2” courses, Obtaining the “Professional Cloud Developer” from Google Cloud and Certification for basic Javascript coding.
