I am a network engineer at ANS Networking, where I design, install, and maintain network systems for various clients. I have a CompTIA Security+ certification and a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3 certification, which demonstrate my knowledge and skills in network security and firewall management.Before joining ANS Networking, I worked as a security operations center analyst level 2 at DefendEdge, a leading cybersecurity company. I was part of a skillbridge intern program that allowed me to learn Fortinet products, Cisco firewalls, and Microsoft and Azure cloud administration. I also gained experience in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats and incidents.Prior to that, I served in the U.S. Navy for six years as an information system technician. I was stationed in Seoul, Korea, and Manama, Bahrain, where I worked on three separate domains, both classified and unclassified. I also led a group of 30+ people in providing communication to U.S. Navy ships. I developed strong skills in system administration, communication, and leadership. I have a passion for computers and technology, and I am always eager to learn new things and improve my skills. I have a high school diploma from Farmington High School, and I am currently studying Linux management online. My goal is to become a senior network engineer and a network security expert.
