Senior Operations Analyst in the newly formed Global Gaming Operations group within the Gaming Solutions division of GTECH. Prepare and implement operations strategy for multiple domestic and international Gaming Operations Centers.

Built and managed 5 teams of QA Analysts and Testers who were responsible for testing all software made by the company (except for the game clients - which I did test and manage the testing of before branching out to the back end systems). The team ranged in size from 14 to 22 employees and was responsible for 10 to 15 projects at any given time. Worked with Project Managers, Development Managers and Account Managers to develop requirements, schedules and budgets for products and projects undertaken by the company. Worked with Lead QA Analysts to develop Test Plans and Test Cases in HP Quality Center based on customer, jurisdictional and internal requirements and design documents. Promoted and implemented numerous procedures and SDLC standards both inside QA and in Development. Worked directly with regulatory test labs and agencies to understand their interpretations of technical standards our products were required to adhere to.

Managed a team of 12 software developers and DBAs. Coordinated all tasks and work activities for multiple projects in multiple phases of development and support.

Wrote test plans and executed test cases of multiple MGAM applications and systems including central determinant bingo and lottery game systems, player tracking systems, internal and customer facing accounting and billing reports, multiple accounting systems, POS devices, wireless devices, and configuration and management interfaces. Systems incorporated the following technologies: C# Windows Services, IIS Web Services, Microsoft SQL Server with Clustering, Microsoft Active Directory. Led test team and actively conducted testing of a complete rewrite of a central determinant Lottery system for WA State. This system was approved by an independent test lab and Washington State test lab on the first attempt, was deployed successfully to more than 10 facilities in the state of WA and has been running successfully for more than 6 years. Worked with software engineers and project managers to prioritize and resolve outstanding bugs. Acted as technical lead, analyzed, troubleshot and resolved technical issues encountered by QA, customers and other colleagues.
