I developed a business plan to upgrade a 2200sqm building into a turnkey creative services hub. With funding from the Landlord, I managed the refurbishment works and concurrently managed the studio. The investment was realised three years ahead of the forecast as I sourced tenants, secured new production projects and supported the negotiation of a longterm lease. Duties included:• Developing a concept plan to improve the studios and upgrade the space.• Development of a business plan • Preparing a schedule for building works.• Sourcing contractors, negotiating prices and supervising their work. • Managing work in an occupied location to minimise the impact to tenants. • Inspecting work completed to ensure defect-free and a high quality.• Ensuring all contractors implement safety requirements within work sites. • Negotiating tenancy leases and managing these and tenant relationships. • Business development and marketing to source new tenants for the building. • Managing the studio P&L and project budgets, tracking costs and paying contractors invoices. • Managing all studio operations for direct production engagements.• Coordinating vendors, equipment, facility and licencing requirements. • Managing studio technology systems.
