Main role in the company is the calculation of Building Energy Ratings (NABERS) and Part L Compliance Reports for commercial buildings using DesignBuilder, one of the leading 3D building modelling and energy simulation software packages worldwide.All BERs are undertaken individually. An on-site survey is undertaken where dimensions, HVAC, lighting and material details are established. This information is subsequently processed using DesignBuilder. Part L Compliance Reports are undertaken individually or as a team, depending on the size of the project. My role is to work alongside the engineers and architects involved with the project, providing advice to ensure that the building complies with the relevant building regulations. This requires great teamwork and communication skills, as well as self-motivation and project management in order to ensure deadlines are met and clients are satisfied.An expansive knowledge of various HVAC system configurations, lighting designs and building materials is a requirement in both BERs and Part L Compliance Reports.

Provided statistical analysis of water usage data in order to find trends which are helping the company in predicting water demand based on region, household occupancy etc. Responsible for identifying leaks nationwide and providing a weekly report to the First Fix team, the forefront of water conservation in Ireland, by incorporating several programs and databases, requiring exceptional computer skills and timekeeping.
