In over 20 years on board charter and private yachts, I have served as Captain on yachts up to 123’ and also worked as an Engineer on numerous yachts. I have outstanding references from past owners, charter brokers, yacht brokers and shipyards.As your captain, I will always see it as my duty to protect your investment by keeping the highest standards of safety and implementing rigorous maintenance to keep your yacht in the best possible condition. This, as well as my engineering and repair skills, ensures the least possible down time for your yacht. It is my goal to create a professional and positive atmosphere on board, with five-star hospitality service. I have a proven history of training and retaining crew, making sure that service is consistent.My background includes numerous large refits, as well as new construction. I have handled ABS and MCA Classifications. Responsibilities have included planning, negotiations with contractors and shipyards, purchasing and outfitting, etc. while ensuring timely completion within budget. I grew up in Lausanne, Switzerland and have lived, worked and played on boats of all kinds from the age of four. As a young man, I served in the US Coast Guard for six years.
