As Co-Founder and CTO, my first responsibility was to implement a working video delivery system that had been holding down the Enski project for months. Overcoming numerous challenges to prevent direct and easy piracy of Facilitator videos, while making the viewing experience seamless was the biggest challenge I had to overcome. I had to learn much about modern trends in web video streaming and security and was able to deliver a working product in record time to the delight of the Enski team.This achievement not only revitalized the project but also flagged a new direction for the company's business objectives.Taking over the project as CTO, it became my responsibility to organize the tech team for optimal results, discuss with other management team members to crystalize the business objectives into actionable milestones and plan the development lifecycle of the web application.Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, I have remained at the forefront of PHP/Laravel development trends, consistently updating my skills to align with the latest technology and industry advancements. One of my notable achievements includes the successful implementation of payment integration solutions, facilitating seamless online transactions and significantly bolstering customer trust and satisfaction.

I was responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting business and technical requirements and validated the needs of the business stakeholders from formal and informal sessions. I was lead in the development of an internet-facing business management solution/platform for Korrect Device Integration's operations, utilizing Laravel for backend development, VueJS/SvelteJS, HTML5, CSS3, JSON and InertiaJS for frontend development, and MySQL for database management. Part of the application requirement was the implementation of staff role management, customer management, and resellers/suppliers’ management features to streamline business operations.It was also a core objective to implement office branch management and monitoring capabilities for effective oversight, ensured the platform was globally accessible to all relevant stakeholders, emphasizing user-friendly design and functionality, implementing sales, expense, invoice, and inventory management features to track financial transactions and inventory levels accurately and ensuring effective audit capabilities.Recognizing my dedication and aptitude for the work, I was offered a permanent position for the maintenance of the software. In my current capacity, I continue to leverage my expertise to ensure the smooth running of the application in line with business requirements and offer scalability solutions as the business expands. This experience has not only accelerated my professional growth but also solidified my commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions in the realm of PHP, Laravel and SvelteJS development.

As a dedicated Laravel/VueJS Developer, I undertook this challenging project that initially faced functionality issues and was riddled with bugs. Taking over from the previous dev team, I recognized the importance of overcoming obstacles, I meticulously identified and resolved all pending issues, and breathed new life into the project.In addition to bug resolution, I took the initiative to enhance the project's capabilities by implementing a robust loan management feature, automated savings portfolio, dynamic targeted savings plans, robust notification systems and more. These strategic additions not only addressed existing shortcomings but also added significant value to the project's functionality and scope.I also implemented an agro-based investment portfolio where users can invest in various agro-based existing farming projects that was beneficial to both the local farmers, by providing the necessary funding to expand their operations, and the platform users by earning them fixed ROI on their investments. This was a welcome addition and well complimented by the project managers.As with any application that handles financial information of users, it was my responsibility to ensure that every financial information is handled and processed strictly in line with PCI DSS standards.The key to sustainable development of any remote based project will always be rooted in maintaining proper communication between all team members and as a senior developer, it was part of my responsibility of communicate in clear terms any potential blockers and resolution strategies that the project encountered along the way.My role in this project showcased not only my technical proficiency in PHP, Laravel and VueJS but also my problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Working in a health care environment was an inspiring point in my career. The knowledge that I was literally responsible for the lives of patients conditioned me to always pay attention to details. At CHC I was responsible for maintaining and ensuring all ICT equipment ran optimally. I was responsible for the intranet infrastructure, communication infrastructure, inventory accountability, access control management of staff and patients, overtime tracking and management, staff rooster management to ensure at every given time the relevant medical personnel are on site. I was also in charge of the routine management meeting coordination, ensured confidentiality of patient information with proper ACL on our internal InteMed software, and ensured routine backups were carried out.During my time at CHC I revamped the hospital website using more modern web technologies, I added new modules to the existing hospital management software, I implemented an automated system for tracking staff clock-in clock-out bonuses and deductions. I was also instrumental in migrating the hospital to a CUG system to ease communications and interfaced with 3rd party vendor and suppliers of ICT equipment to ensure they operated within agreed SLAs.One of my last contributions was introducing the idea of going paperless to reduce our carbon footprint, improve waste management policies and reduce costs. The idea had begun to catch, with the introduction of wireless devices for hospital rounds and installation of additional wireless routers in the in-patient facilities on before I transitioned away from the company.

myPadi.ng was an EchoVC funded startup that sought to revolutionize the real estate space of student and NYSC corpers accomodation. myPadi.ng provides a platform for university and college students to find and book off-campus accommodation, with verified landlords. The platform provides photographs, virtual tours, pricing, amenities, and reviews.At myPadi I was fully responsible for the development of APIs, and all backend operations, Api to be consumed by the frontend engineers, developed using Laravel. I ensured timely delivery of goals and targets as dictated by the project lead, coordinating with frontend engineers and other team members. • I was also responsible for managing team members' availability for weekly scrums and I monitored their progress using Pivotal Tracker.I also utilized Slack for team communication, AWS for deployment, Git/Github for version control, Adobe Dreamweaver, Atom, Brackets, and Visual Studio Code for development environments, and Postman for API testing.

I spearheaded the development of a robust and scalable frontend and backend system using Laravel/VueJS for the FastPlay24 gaming web application. As the lead developer, I meticulously designed and implemented the architecture, ensuring seamless data management and efficient server-side operations. My responsibilities included UI integration, business logic design and implementation, database design, ensuring seamless communication amongst other team members to facilitate clarity of business objectives and implementation strategies, and overall system optimization. The use of Laravel/VueJS allowed for a dynamic and responsive system that met the project's objectives while adhering to industry best practices. This experience honed my skills in full stack development, problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork.Identifying the need for optimal security of financial transactions, I ensured the payment system and financial data handling adhered strictly with PCI DSS standards.The FastPlay24 web application handled up to 5000 users per gaming session and I learnt a lot about session management and application scalability from my time at TCOM.
