Post-acquisition I scaled the Indeed Assessments engineering teams, mostly remote. Got to over 600,000 customers with our clients sending millions of assessments each week.Responsible for engineering strategy, hiring, goal setting, performance management, and introducing best practices.I also built out or managed teams for enterprise, the Indeed ATS, screener questions, job recommendations, job management, and engineering excellence.

Acquired by Indeed. YC S15.Started with a work sample and assessment platform for hiring. Ended up building an enterprise-grade ATS with a focus on automation and skills assessments.

Acquired by Knotel. YC W12. Full-stack development work on the broker operations tools and automation. Worked with Ruby, Rails, Javascript and Postgres. Help with hiring and establishing product and engineering best practices.

Responsible for building out analytics and the data warehouse for a suite of several products.Product manager for a new product built and launched in partnership with Verizon. Family safety software installed by default on all Verizon Android phones. Managed the partnership, product roadmap, UX design, and worked with several engineering teams across the organization.

Acquired by Location Labs.Founded after winning a hackathon and quickly receiving funding. Built a group chat app. Included group decision-making mechanics for selecting times and locations when planning an event with friends.Was responsible for most full-stack development work. Built the iPhone app (Objective-C), the Android app (Java) and the API (Ruby, Rails, Postgres). Eventually hired and managed a small team.

Full-stack engineering work on a social app for building, sharing and comparing ranked lists of preferences and opinions in a variety of categories (sports, consumer goods, artists, songs, movies, etc).Worked primarily with Python/Django and Javascript. Did all DevOps work. Hired and managed a small team.

Took over CTO responsibilities. Built out and managed a team of over 30 engineers, designers and product managers.Pivoted our project management software into a Google Apps competitor with a fully integrated calendar, email management and document management. Transitioned the team from .NET to the LAMP stack using Python.

Continued to do full-stack engineering work. Took on UX and product management responsibilities. Owned engineering hiring to build out a team.

Built the first version of a web-based project and task management platform.Worked mostly with the Microsoft stack: C#, SQL Server, etc. Also worked with Javascript and CSS on the frontend.
