As Vice President of the Aviation Explorer post I organize events for the post and recruit new members. I reach out to local aviation companies and ask for guest speakers or tours of their facilities. I arrange speakers from the Air Force, Airline pilots, mechanics, air traffic controllers, and tours of industrial simulators for airlines. I also oversee recruitment events at high schools to pursue our goal of generating interest in aviation for teens.

After being a part of the team for three years, I have learned how to use tools, design, and build a robot, and manage time under a deadline. As Engineering Captain, I oversee all four subsystems and over thirty members of the robotics team. As a team during my four years in high school, we won the All-Star Rookie of the Year for San Diego-9th grade, Matt Grob Innovation Award-9th, San Diego Regional Finalist-11th, World Championship Qualifier-9th & 11th grade
