* 10.5 yrs. corporate accounting experience-3 yrs. in real estate (property management), 4.5 yrs. in construction/property development and 3 yrs. in mining/oil & gas. 3 yrs. small to medium sized business accounting, financial analysis and tax reporting.* In depth financial accounting and reporting experience working in both private and public environments. Proven experience working with CRA within various departments.* Full cycle cost, project and property accounting/reporting experience, overseeing all aspects of multiple projects/properties within a portfolio.* Strong working knowledge of CAD GAAP, ASPE and IFRS. * Extensive experience working within multiple entities in large, complex organization structures as well as smaller, start-up environments.* CPA PEP student- full designation completed by September 2021* Full cycle financial accounting/month end close experience including complex multi- currency bank, intercompany and other account reconciliations.* Monthly/quarterly/annual financial statement (consolidated/non-consolidated) and working paper preparation. Financials include unaudited internal, NTR and audited statements.* Real estate development industry specific accounting, reporting and analysis experience.* Experience creating and managing financial models and proformas of varying complexity and timeline. * Experience creating, managing and analyzing monthly/annual cash flow projections.* Experience developing and managing monthly/annual budgets and working with Operations and other departments on analysis and review. * Month end project analysis and financial statement preparation for third party readers. Project draw preparation, management and analysis.* Complex CAD & US tax filing experience (GST, T1, T2, T4 (A), T5, Payroll, 1099, W2, NR4)* Excellent written and verbal communication skills dealing with internal and external parties including financial, lending, and insurance institutions. Both a proficient self starter as well as team player.
