My primary objective when joining the management team was to transform the shipping operations of both facilities and prepare for a mid-2023 mill refurbishment which will increase outbound shipments by 50%.Major Accomplishments:Safety – Implemented multiple changes in processes to ensure everyone goes home every day unhurt, better tools, S.T.O.P. training for managers and supervisors, better reporting, and building awareness. We have seen a 10% increase in near miss and incident reporting. Increased Outbound Shipments – Shipments have increased by approximately 50% since my hire date. We have broken the recorded maximum number of trucks loaded in one day record 3 times. Rail car shipments have increased by 20%.
