Flight Test Analysis Engineer in charge of the preparation, support during execution and report of flight tests related to the development, certification and qualification of the A400M Powerplant and associated subsystem: nacelle thermal characterization, nacelle drainage evaluation, ground start and in-flight restart envelope evaluation, oil system functioning evaluation, engine and propeller vibration assessment, FADEC software validation. Activities:⇨ Flight test preparation: check of the A/C configuration required for the test, definition and validation of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI), elaboration of data analysis tools and screens for real time data presentation on telemetry room and on board the aircraft.⇨ Support activity during flight test execution: attendance to the briefing, test monitoring by telemetry, results analysis and test report elaboration.⇨ Validate, clean, process, and analyze data acquired during powerplant flight tests to extract insights and results that support aircraft development, certification and qualification.⇨ Analysis of powerplant malfunctions (snags) in flight test and production aircraft: first analysis of the problem and coordination with engine supplier, maintenance team (MAP) and design office to provide a technical solutions to the issue.⇨ Elaboration of studies to analyse powerplant system operation using flight data in order to evaluate the correct performance of the system and to identify potential improvements in the design.
