Daniel Plaisance Email and Phone Number
I am dedicated to fostering inclusive economic growth and advancing sustainable industrial transitions through emerging technologies, workforce development, and smart urban planning. My work centers on empowering local communities to build resilient and prosperous economies amidst a period of generational global economic change.Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, where I combine my practical experience with the academic study of policies driving America's industrial and economic transformation. Alongside my studies, I provide research, writing, and strategic consulting services to public, private, and nonprofit clients.Previously, I created and led the Advanced Mobility portfolio at Tulsa Innovation Labs, an ambitious initiative to position Tulsa as a global leader in mobility technology through innovative commercialization, entrepreneurial support, capital access, and workforce development programs. This work earned national recognition as a winner of the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Build Back Better Regional Challenge, securing $70M to drive long-term economic development and job creation in the region. In earlier roles, I've built high-profile public-private partnerships, analyzed federal legislation to unlock opportunities for nonprofits, and used demographic insights to make government programs more accessible to underrepresented communities.Outside of my professional and academic work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, traveling, photography, exploring cities, and seeing live music.
