Commitment, collaboration, connection, and excellence. These four common threads define and drive me both in life and in my role on the Infrastructure Team. I always strive for excellence and do my best in whatever I commit myself to do, ethically, and with utmost integrity. As SAP Technical Architect, I’m responsible for collaborating across teams, connecting cross-functional colleagues, identifying opportunities to simplify complexities, and translating them into automated work. I understand our business needs, and apply industry knowledge to leverage information technology focused on the SAP landscape to address those needs. It puts wind in my sails when I collaborate and offer my knowledge to solve a problem. Helping to achieve the right solution at the right time makes me very happy. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring different subjects such as philosophy, theology, and economics. Understanding the human side of things enriches and balances the logical, mathematical, and technical world I live in. My wife and I feel a special connection to Hawaii and enjoy spending time there. We also have two horses (which my wife especially loves), and I enjoy spending time in the barn helping her with them. I’m originally from Brazil, so moving to the US at 27 opened my eyes to the essence of commonality in our humanity – which really informs how I approach my profession. It’s something I never would have had the chance to discover if I’d lived my whole life in Brazil. The world is different, but our human connections, needs and aspirations are the same. We are one big global village.
