Our 40-person Data Ingest engineering team was located in India. As the Data Ingest / Data Services Program Manager, I focused on fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment between our India-based engineering team and teams in the US/Canada. I was instrumental in enhancing alignment and transparency, ensuring focus on revenue-generating projects, and building a cohesive and collaborative "One-team" environment.- Project Financials & Strategic Decision-making: I initiated efforts to create a detailed view of project financials, enabling informed decision-making on project selection to reach net new ARR revenue targets. - Agile Capacity Planning: I hosted monthly meetings with all internal stakeholders to review our 6-12 month project plan and discuss available capacity and project prioritization. I held weekly reservation planning meetings with our Implementation to track this progress, enhancing flexibility and agility in project scheduling.- Cross-Continental Collaboration: Despite time zone differences, I facilitated alignment through weekly scrum of scrums, roadmap planning meetings and strategic account meetings during time zone overlaps in the morning and late in the evening.- Empathetic Leadership: My empathetic approach to communication and collaboration promoted teamwork and contributed to a positive company culture. I emphasized the importance of teamwork and the collective efforts of our team and partners from other teams in achieving goals and successes.

I served as the Product Owner for a ETL development pod based in India, bridging the gap between teams in the US/Canada and our pod in India. My role included agile project management, collaboration, and facilitating communication using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro & Lucid.- Successfully delivered a major project for a large US utility on time, navigating challenging circumstances with effective contingency planning. No post-launch issues reported.- Led a development pod in India that was working on Implementations for two major US utilities, implementing Agile processes with JIRA and delivering transparency through dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.- Ensured global stakeholder alignment through regular sync conversations, both live and asynchronously, overcoming 12-hour time zone differences.- Represented the Data Services team on two of Uplight’s Product Business Leadership Teams, contributing to strategic discussions and process enhancements.- Collaborated with a cross-functional group to determine and implement process improvements.Played an active role in Uplight's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including PRISM (Uplights LGBTQ+ ERG), organizing events and supporting cross-ERG initiatives for increased diversity and inclusion at Uplight.

- Was part of a cross-functional team that filtered, ranked and prioritized innovative ideas and suggested product and process improvements; Helped to set OKRs/KPIs. - Built a backlog ticket prioritization system for sprint planning in JIRA through collaboration between the CTO, CBDO and my team.- Liaison between software developers & project stakeholders; Fostered quality communication & alignment across teams- Led underwriting of risk transfer hedges (Proxy Revenue Swap and Volume Firming Agreement among others) and provided quotes for over 70 onshore wind projects in the USA, UK and Australia by running complete internal wind resource assessments and future power markets assessments for each. Seven of these projects reached financial close utilizing our hedging strategies. - Owner of project underwritings that brought in over $5M profit - Responsible for onboarding, mentoring and managing junior team members, team processes and operations and was instrumental in growing the valuation and risk analytics team from two to ten employees. As Employee #8, have been closely involved in shaping the future of our company and the renewable energy financing industry.- Closely involved in cross-team collaborations; worked directly on database and process design to keep everyone aligned on our common goals as well as meteorology research projects. One project, "The Cost of Shear Uncertainty in an Era of Higher Hub Heights" was presented in an oral presentation at the American Meteorological Society's Annual Meeting in January 2020.- Cultivated an inclusive and close-knit company culture as founder of the Diversity & Inclusion task force- With my background in Meteorology, worked on some side research projects including the one I presented at AMS in 2020; "The Cost of Shear Uncertainty in an Era of Higher Hub Heights"

- Successfully led underwriting of the 295 MW High Lonesome transaction, the largest proxy revenue swap signed to date in October 2018 that brought in $3.8M to REsurety. A Proxy Revenue Swap is a financial hedging instrument that enables holistic revenue risk management: hedging energy price and generation quantity simultaneously, resulting in unprecedented revenue certainty. Mastery of this underwriting process includes understanding how to perform a full wind resource assessment in addition to an assessment into future power market conditions.

Gathered power, gas and weather data from a variety of sources and developed analytical models that created opportunities for our traders. I created regional natural gas balance sheets which used our in-house pipeline flow model. I also maintained a daily Python code that created various price files and maps as well as our United States gas balance sheet. I looked at how we could leverage wind forecasts to gain a stronger understanding of the intricacies that drive price on the power market. I built a Pacific Northwest power stack model; The first steps were to collect Hydro and Wind data to forecast their load output.

Analyzed a wealth of data from nine offshore meteorological masts in Northern Europe in order to characterize ambient offshore turbulence intensity. To ensure robustness of the data and the final analysis I stressed careful quality control techniques and selection of appropriate statistical methods. Most of the analysis was performed using MATLAB.Thesis Research Questions:1). How does the wind speed standard deviation and turbulence intensity vary with wind speed (U), height (z) and wind direction (θ) at the nine different sites?2). Are these relationships regional or strictly site dependent?3). How do the found trends compare with previous studies and the IEC 61400-3 standards for offshore wind turbine design?4). Analyzing Energy Spectra from WRF-LES simulations of the Horns Rev Wind Farm, Denmark.

Worked in the Julie Lundquist research group on a project titled, “Characterizing wind turbine inflow and wakes through comparison of SODAR and Met Tower Observations—A part of TWICS: The Turbine Wake Inflow Characterization Study”. I gained valuable experience performing quality control of raw field data and analytical software skills using Matlab. This work was funding under the SOARS internship program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. The SOARS program is a research-intensive internship with strong components in mentoring and community.

I worked under Penn State Department of Geography professor Andrew Carleton creating a climatology of Southern Hemisphere polar lows during the Southern Hemisphere winter of 2004. I utilized satellite data from the University of Wisconsin’s Antarctic Meteorological Research Center. There were 8 images per day which provided high temporal resolution. I imported the images into powerpoint and circled and tracked all of the polar lows. I then charted them onto a map by hand. This project showed that given modern technology it is now possible to revisit polar low climatologies.

As a SOARS intern, I worked in the Climate and Global Dynamics division with Marika Holland, David Bailey, and Alexandra Jahn. The project was titled, “Understanding Changes in the Arctic Basin Sea Ice Mass Budget as Simulated by the CCSM4: Implications from Melt Season Characteristics and the Surface Albedo Feedback”. I gained experience using the Linux operating system and the IDL and NCL computer languages.

As a SOARS intern, worked with Olga Wilhelmi and Isabelle Ruin in the Integrated Science Program and GIS initiative. The project was titled, “Flash Floods: A Spatial and Temporal Analysis—Case Study of the Flash Floods in SW Missouri in March 2008.” I gained strong proficiency in using the GIS software ArcGIS.

Volunteered for 8 hours each week at the Hydrometeorological Technician (HMT) desk. I issued all of the public statements and reports put out by the desk during the morning hours. This included producing all the forecast and other products issued by the office as well as quality controlling all of the incoming meteorological and hydrological data, including river and stream gauge information. I also answered public questions via phone calls and worked with the many co-operative observers throughout central Pennsylvania.
