This was a government first for transaction based services in a hybrid cloud. Daniel was the technical lead and developer of a Java web application portal for RACV. The portal provided a single customer view, with a list of business and an Insurance front-end for quotes and policies. Daniel was involved in several project releases and exposed to all phases of the SDLC. In this time, Daniel also had the opportunity to travel and work in India for 1 month to help train the offshore team.

As a part of an Industry Experience Internship with RMIT University, Daniel worked at Agilent Technologies a system tester and part time developer for 1 year. Daniel was a part of a division in Australia which developed and supported a software and hardware solution, N2X Packets and Protocols, for testing and validating the performance of core and edge network infrastructures and equipment. Some major clients are Juniper and Cisco. - Created test plans and executed tests- Developed automated test scripts- Logged and tracked defects in a defect tracking system- Created test summary reportsDaniel also developed a comparison utility tool which was added to a product that was shipped to customers. The tool effectively did a comparison on two data result sets and generated a HTML report visually highlighting the differences side by side and displaying statistics.
