Operations manager for two hotels: Kubitschek Plaza (254 rooms) and Manhattan Plaza (265 rooms).

Invited to implement a hospitality project from the Brasilia University (UnB) in this private hospital. The maingoal was to provide the same quality of service as found on hotels thus making the patients stay more pleasant. Newprocedures were introduced in both rooms division and food & beverage. The hospital is now seeking accreditationfor its quality of service.

Responsible for this new project where the main goal was to refurbish and reposition this 30 year old hotel taking it from a budget hotel to an upscale executive driven hotel. The refurbishment is being done without a contractor, on time, spending 34% less than budgeted by the previous administrations. With the ongoing refurbishment process I was still able to: increase revenue in 22%, occupancy by 15%, room rate by 10%, make a positive EBTIDA, decrease payroll from 36 to 29 employees, increase salaries and train the associates.

Responsible for the operation of the Food and Beverage department in charge of service quality, cost control and food hygiene (HACCP). Personalized service for special guests and Heads of State. Training and career development of associates. Creation and implementation of new products. Collaboration in the commercial and marketing projects.

Roles in different departments of rooms division: Housekeeping supervisor; Shift Leader at the front desk; Night Auditor; Creation and management of guest feedback analysis; Communication supervisor in charge of telephone and internet demands; Accounts payable; Six Sigma project assistant.
