Current- Created automation tool to read and analyze emails from front-end stock trading sell-side and analyze issues with stock trade flow they had with clients. Automation system included UI/UX frontend using Angular, Typescript and backend built with Python, Perl, Sybase which plugged in to incident management system Service NOW to allow for automatic reporting of pre-determined incidents- Worked on an application which made use of real-time streaming data pipelines using Kafka and RabbitMQ to create a better visualization of trading systems data logs. Application had a built-in email-feature to alert analysts and response team of any issues on trading systems hosts. It helped prevent outages and made the MSET team more proactive in catching faulty hosts- Built CLI tools to analyze network logs using Python/Perl. Sybase as backend, to ensure Site Reliability of trading systems and plant. Analyzed network level logs [PCAPS] using various packet level data capture techniques in Wireshark and other proprietary application monitoring/automation tools. Improved visibility and reduced outages faced by front facing trade team- Built email alerting feature for trading system hosts which spot checked critical system indicators to ensure readiness for next-day trading. This allowed for easy visibility of potential faulty hosts and address issues to be in line with SLI and SLOs.- Cooperated with trading exchange analysts to ensured sovereignty of FIX trades in accordance with SLA agreements with clients and vendors. Debugged issues with FIX trade and documented incidents to help improve system performance- Implemented quality checks on readiness of trading plant in line with any changes made by stock exchange. Worked weekend shifts to test new trading symbols, tickers and other low-touch trading products were appropriately implemented by respective teams and run automation tests on trade flow to ensure Site Reliability and Infrastructure readiness
