•Collaborated with four investment professions on the management of a $35 million early-stage venture capital fund focused on investments in companies spun out from Partners $1.5 billion annual research program. •Led the in-depth diligence efforts (technical, financial, competitive & regulatory) on a vascular access medical device company. Presented opportunity to investment committee. Decision is pending completion of syndicate. •Collaborated with clinicians and industry to create a medical device innovation program designed to spur increased device output through co-development funding and structured exits based on milestones.

•Oversaw development of first market specific, low-cost sterilizer and consumable for a value segment of customers in China. Designed and implemented manufacturing capabilities in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, to provide a consumable with favorable tax structure. NPV was $19.4 million. •Revitalized oldest sterilizer by modernizing design. Championed pre-launch enhancements that improved manufacturing cost and field serviceability. Project drove $17 million in sales and beat plan by 192%.•Developed and facilitated a process which enabled senior management to prioritize engineering projects and allocate resources accordingly. Process improved project throughput time by 57%.

•Developing a "Never Out" playbook which provides a central point of reference to support supply strategy for the 21 Never Out Codes (codes deemed most critical to the McNeil business). This playbook will provide a foundational framework that will enable a target case fill rate of 99.5 percent for Never Out Codes.•Served as an assessor on two lean maturity assessments. The final reports from these assessments provided recommendations on how to reduce cost and enable lean culture within the respective organizations.•Lead a cross-functional value stream mapping activity to identify waste between the Fort Washington Production Facility and the three network DCs.

•Provided packaging development support for the launch of the Ultram ER 100mg and 200mg products. Designed all packaging components and qualified each of these components through line trials. Created all associated master data and specifications for components. Assumed ownership of 200mg launch after New Products Manager resigned during the planning phase and successfully executed project timeline. •Implemented thermal foam protection to all Jurnista product using OROS technology that was shipped internationally. The pallet pattern formations were altered and a procedure was developed to add this foam in the production environment to eliminate duplicate work at the distribution center. These corrective actions were in response to a loss of 1.1 million dollars of saleable Jurnista product. •Rationalized packaging component specifications for the Jurnista product. Project reduced the number of specifications by 88% and also reduced the number of documentation changes by 50%. Changes allowed Jurnista documentation to be more agile.

•Directly oversaw the release of 520 million dollars in annual sales of Mammomark Breast Marker and Xcel Trocar products. Dispositioned all material involved in non-conformances which arose as a result of manufacturing deviations and supplier issues. Developed and implemented non-routine operations and rework procedures to mitigate product risk. •Earned Green Belt Certification in DMAI2C for developing and implementing an improved raw material inspection procedure. This change reduced unnecessary non-conformances and enabled an annual cost avoidance of $47,000. •Collaborated with sterilization scientists to modify and implement a cleaning procedure for the Mammomark production line in response to a major audit finding issued by TUV. The procedure prevented the cross contamination of collagen lots and ensured the traceability of these lots to EES batches. Earned Encore Award for strategic thinking.
