At the directorate Financial Economic Affairs (FEZ), I am working on the budgets of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Development. I advise on the HGIS framework, ODA budget and the expenses on multilateral cooperation.

The Inspectorate of the Budget (IRF) is part of the Directorate-General Rijksbegroting (DGRB), which surveys the Dutch public expenditure. My colleagues and I monitored the budgetary rules and assessed the effectiveness of policy proposals, specifically for the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW). We ensured that budget was spent effectively and efficiently. During my time at the IRF, I have worked on the budgets for integration, social cohesion, administrative authorities (UWV/SVB), unemployment benefits and labour market policy.
