Supporting the Systems Engineering & Operations business unit that has implemented agile at scale project deliveryResponsibilities:- Assistance in preparation of the annual budget and re-forecasts for an annual IT CAPEX envelope of approx. $280m-$330m- Review and present all IT Capex business cases at the Investment Committee to the CIO and other senior leadership for endorsement- Assist Commercial Finance Manager with production of month end project capex reporting- Provide analytical support to the project teams and senior leadership team to assist their strategic decision making- Liaise with IT project delivery (Scaled agile) teams to produce accurate resource, cost and forecast trackers- Preparation and upload of allocation, reallocation and accrual journals- Reviewing current processes for continuous improvement initiatives- Work with the business to drive improvement and cost optimisation

This role focused on system governance and maintenance, finance systems training and support to the finance user community. In addition, I was the 'voice' between the financial systems users (Commercial Finance and wider Finance, Procurement and Supply teams), project delivery and operations teams.Responsibilities:- Assist with the governance of Oracle (Projects module focused) to ensure all changes and new implementations meet governance principles- Support the finance teams with Oracle and Maximo system issues or enquiries- Running and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required for new implementations- Communicate with finance user community on progress of critical month end system issues and escalate necessary issues with offshore support team- Clear all system exceptions during the month to ensure Oracle ledger periods can be closed successfully- Ensure data/transactions flow into the correct reporting structures from Oracle > OBIEE > Hyperion- Ownership and creation of Oracle project templates for all programs/streams- Development and delivery of Oracle Projects training to finance teams- Reviewing current processes for continuous improvement initiatives- Assist Commercial Finance team with queries & ad hoc tasks including reporting, analysis and journal preparation

Supporting the Fibre-to-the-Curb (FTTC) and demand deployment nbn rollout programs Responsibilities:- Supporting Project Controllers and Commercial Finance Managers with determination of project financial performance with the preparation and upload of allocation, re-allocation and accrual journals- Assisting with preparation of packs to be submitted along with month end reporting- Reviewing project funding requirements and maintenance of funding in Oracle, ensuring alignment to Investment Committee approved funding- Preparation of program cash flow forecasting- Drive capitalisation of projects by the accurate production of relevant reporting and ongoing interaction with the Fixed Assets team- Assistance with preparation of the annual budget and re-forecasts- Project creation and maintenance
