Advised senior managers on personnel policy effecting up to 45,000 service personnel and their dependents living and working in Northern Europe. Led the British Forces Germany programme to influence Defence personnel policy and ensure a broad range of personnel services were maintained.• Project managed a communications plan to highlight significant changes to policy effecting Service Personnel in Northern Europe. Raised awareness of the requirement for change and facilitated feedback from those affected. This ensured that the willingness of personnel to serve overseas was maintained and reinforced the values and standards of the British Army.• Advised a Ministry of Defence policy department on the implications of reducing allowances for service personnel stationed overseas and influenced the outcome of a wide ranging allowance review which sought to reduce expenditure by £100m per annum. • Managed the project to capture and articulate requirements for social, welfare and support services in Europe. This project influenced the delivery of contracted social and adult services in support of UK service personnel and their dependents. • Project managed the delivery of a high profile social event for over 400 military and civilian staff with a budget in excess of €50,000. Liaised with key stakeholders to ensure requirements were met and to ensure value for money. Delivered a successful function which exceeded the expectations of participants and elevated the reputation of the organisation. • Reviewed and implemented new systems of financial forecasting and contract management at West Rhine Golf Club (British Army). Project managed asset purchases and ensured the financial viability of the club.

Coordinated all training and infrastructure requirements to ensure staff were appropriately trained as self-service users and had sufficient access to the system. Led the team to establish the HR structure which underpinned the system to ensure the timely delivery of personnel services. • Through liaison with stakeholders identified areas for development, which would increase the effectiveness of the team. Planned the delivery of personnel support and financial services in preparation for overseas training exercises and military operations. • Devised and delivered diverse individual staff training programmes which increased the efficiency of the team and maintained a high level of support despite austere conditions.
