An experienced Managing Director of a Software Company, who has sold and implemented solutions globally as well as built teams to develop products and support customers. My current customer software focus is on Business Process Solutions and Asset Management, however I have implemented large scale OSS and BSS solutions within, Retail, Telecoms and Banking. I have a passion for technology and was an outstanding software engineer. I have been in Software all of my 18+ year career and one of my greatest strengths is communicating with the business and understanding both the needs of the stakeholders and the best way to create the solution. One example of my ability to design and deliver world-class solutions that are a great investment was the solution conceived at O2. The service is still in use today – it was designed and written by me in Java using open standards and has been moved to new operating systems, new hardware and had new middle ware deployed and has continued to work effectively, with virtually zero adaptation required.Aside from being able to communicate very well with the business, another great strength is the breadth of experience I have in software delivery – I have worked in almost every aspect of professional software delivery for very large standards driven organisations including: release management, application management, project management and operational integration and each experience has helped me to understand what it really takes to build, develop and support quality software.
