As a strategic data analytics leader and social psychologist, I'm passionate about leveraging advanced quantitative methods to drive meaningful change and inform policy. My journey in data science began with a fascination for how social identities and political and moral attitudes shape behavior, leading me to earn a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.Currently, I serve as the Interim Director of Research at the Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab (PERIL) at American University. Here, I lead a team in designing and evaluating data-driven interventions to combat ideological extremism and polarization. Our work has had tangible impacts, such as boosting community resilience and informing policy through rigorous research and presentations to stakeholders, including the White House.In 2022, I founded nSight Analytics, Inc., where I provide consulting services in social science research methods and data analytics. At the University of California, Irvine, as a postdoctoral researcher, I conduct advanced quantitative research on social identities and political attitudes, employing experimental and longitudinal methods to study the effects of media exposure, moral judgments, and social identity on risk perceptions and behavior. This work has been published in high-impact journals, contributing to a deeper understanding of how psychological factors influence public responses to major societal challenges.Beyond my technical skills in R, Stata, SQL, and Tableau, I'm dedicated to mentoring the next generation of researchers and fostering a collaborative environment where open science and data-driven decision-making thrive.
