About Daniel Gennaro, Mpa, Bht

As a communications professional, I enjoy working in multifaceted positions that enable me to be creative and find new opportunities to enhance the organizational profile. Up to this point in my career, I've worked in small to mid-size nonprofits and local government entities. Throughout each position, I've utilized my skills in graphic design, event planning, and community outreach to find new ways to enhance service delivery and the overall discoverability of an organization. You could say I have a knack for stepping into a position and observing the organization as an outsider in order to identify where the gaps are and what could be added to improve its reach and effectiveness. On a side note, I just love people! I love networking with others, connecting, sharing ideas, and collectively coming up with solutions to problems that can be alleviated by collaboration. This is why I routinely get involved and lead various committees, coalitions, and task force groups that identify with my personal interests or organizational focus. In my free time, I enjoy getting into nature as often as I can by hiking or mountain biking. I'm a sucker for old historic towns and main streets, and who doesn't love a unique craft brewery? I also enjoy playing music and learning about all kinds of alternative medicine and holistic healing. Anything else, just ask! Thanks for connecting! Hope to talk soon.Specialties: community outreach, media relations, social media management and engagement, website development, content management, community initiatives, interpersonal communications, event planning and promotion. For a more detailed look at my work experience please open the PDF document below.
