Since I was a child I had always a curiosity to understand how the devices were inside, how they worked. Of course, this curiosity brought some problems, because clocks and radios were never the same after my interventions.I graduated in Telecommunications, but I felt in love for software development applied in telecommunications, where I found the possibility of transforming processors into useful solutions for people.In the 12 years dedicated to software development, many bugs were solved, and certainly many others created, I had the privilege to participate in innovative projects in their areas such as:- Development of applications for the first low orbit satellite constellation, with worldwide coverage, Orbcomm;- Anatel radio and TV monitoring network - RNR;- Software maintenance for voice over IP media gateways;- Development of the alert stations of the Sistema Alerta Rio network;- Development of the SIP module for one of the first IPSANs with national technology by Datacom;They were incredible experiences, however, I lacked something that would connect me more to the people who applied those technologies in their daily lives. So, I decided to accept an invitation to migrate to the Technical Services area, which allowed me to have direct contact with the users who were just a name for me.Certainly, there are many challenges in keeping the links active for essential services, connected cities, but transposing each one of them is worthwhile when we realize the difference we can make in people's lives.
