Manage Career Services departments at the Chicago, Schaumburg, and Detroit campuses. Collaborated with other Institutional Directors to develop and implement a streamlined internship management process that is consistent among all Art Institute schools. Develop and implement strategic plans for Career Services Department for all three campuses. Developed and continue to maintain relationships with employers such as Nike, Aramark, Marriott, Princess Cruise Lines, Leo Burnett, Foot Joy, and Nordstrom. Provide career advice to current students and graduates. Coach students and graduates with resume writing, interview skills, cover letter composition, and job search strategies. Develop and implement career focused programs for students, such as job fairs, alumni panels, industry panels, and workshops. Produce, organize, and manage quarterly portfolio shows which showcase the student work of graduating seniors.

Dynamic leader focused on faculty growth and development through teambuilding and mentorship. Cultivated and maintained relationships with employers and alumni to obtain internship and career opportunities for students at companies such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Gucci, Nike, Michael Kors, and Cintas. Developed and implemented a quarterly scheduling model that provided consistency of class offerings, resulting in increased average registered credits, increased persistence, and greater student success. Strong partner with Career Services to insure job placement goals were met. Organized and facilitated Professional Advisory Committees for both the Fashion Marketing & Management and Fashion Design programs to gain industry perspective of employer needs and input on curriculum. Actively served on The Mayor’s Fashion Council for the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. Chaired committee on HLC accreditation renewal team. Successfully obtained grant money of $25,000, or more, each of the last five years to cover all costs of annual student fashion show. Effectively and efficiently managed the development and implementation of a student fashion show, stayed on budget, and significantly increased audience attendance each of the last five years.
