Wealth Management Intern
- Assist with client communication, including scheduling meetings, responding to inquiries, and preparing follow-up correspondence. Assist in organizing required papers, reports, and presentations in advance of client meetings. Help with opening new accounts, transferring assets, and updating client information to help with the management of client accounts.- Perform market research to offer information on current market trends and to support investment decisions. Examine customer portfolios to evaluate risk, performance, and compatibility with investment goals. Researching possible investments and carrying out due diligence will help the investment team.- Assure accurate record-keeping of all communications with clients, financial transactions, and regulatory compliance. In the financial management software of the company, enter and keep up-to-date accurate client data. Produce financial statements and performance reports on a regular basis for clients.- Participate in training sessions and learn about various financial products, investment strategies, and wealth management practices. Collaborate closely with portfolio associates and senior advisors to obtain real-world experience and valuable understanding of the wealth management sector. Attend industry events, webinars, and other educational opportunities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
