Development of mechanical and pneumatic systems for automation. Market and competitor study, product analysis, concept creation, technical feasibility, risk assessment, CAD modeling, CAE calculations and simulations, tolerance calculations, 2D drawings, material specification, DFMEA, preliminary cost analysis, supplier contact and specification of validation and quality tests. I perform multi-body simulations to determine velocities, accelerations, impact forces and other variables using Mechanism Dynamics integrated with Creo Parametric. Use of the results of multi-body simulations in multi-variable sensitivity, viability and optimization studies with PTC's BMX Behavioral Modeling. Use of DoE, during the development phase, using computational simulation results as experimental factors to understand the relationships between the system variables to identify optimal operating conditions and multi-disciplinary optimization. Knowledge of structural mechanical properties, linear and non-linearity viscoelastic, creep, relaxation and tribology of the polymers. Frequent interaction with the testing laboratory to determine test parameters, analysis of measurements and durability tests. Comparison between simulation and test results for corrections and adjustments of simulation models. Use of experimental data and multi-body simulations in the finite element analysis with the Simulate FEM, from PTC. Use of Mathcad in the elaboration of calculation worksheets, and proprietary Festo software for sizing seals, screw joints, springs and other elements. I acquired international experience during the periods I was in the development area of the headquarters in Germany in 2006, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
