What do you like most about what you do?I like to learn new things and share what I know. I enjoy solving problems and helping others grow. That's why I am passionate about animation and education. That's why I like professional development and specialize in animation production and operations management.With over 15 years of experience, I have worked with diverse clients and exciting projects. I am also a professor at the School of Digital Animation at LCI Veritas University. Furthermore, I have had the pleasure of having excellent colleagues. Together, we have contributed to the growth of the Animation industry in Costa Rica.It all began in 2008 when I co-founded Rocket Cartoons with my family and a friend. We created seven original intellectual properties and produced over 790 minutes of animated content. Our original content was licensed by Cartoon Network Latin America, Disney Channel Japan, RTP and YLE, among others. This was the starting point for my career in Digital Animation and entertainment.In 2018, I began providing services to Relish Studios as an Animation Producer. For almost three years, I led an incredible team of visual storytellers, animators, and technical artists. Together, we completed over 522 minutes of animated content for clients including Mattel, CBC, and Moose Toys.I then went on to provide my services as an Operations Manager at Relish Studios. I oversee contracts for all divisions and regions, supporting talent growth and improving the freelancer experience. I implemented a new approach to orientation and improved the talent retention rate by 25.3%I also develop custom tools to manage Animation Operations and Production, achieving significant improvements in our processes and results.I am a Christian, and my faith informs all aspects of my life, including my work.
