Ambiente Europeo is a Spanish non-profit organization dedicated to tackle the problem of marine debris through effective communication channels, educational programs, and citizen engagement. We also engage in sound synergies with various sectors of civil society, such as farming activity, industrial fishing, arts, sports, culture, and sustainable fashion.More than 32,000 volunteers from 350 local organizations have participated in more than 1020 citizen science events as part of the… Show more Ambiente Europeo is a Spanish non-profit organization dedicated to tackle the problem of marine debris through effective communication channels, educational programs, and citizen engagement. We also engage in sound synergies with various sectors of civil society, such as farming activity, industrial fishing, arts, sports, culture, and sustainable fashion.More than 32,000 volunteers from 350 local organizations have participated in more than 1020 citizen science events as part of the International Coastal Clean-up project globally lead by Ocean Conservancy. We have participated in primetime TV programs and documentaries, reached over 55,000 students with our educational program, and involved numerous Spanish celebrities in outreach actions.
