Cerated and launched two new social impact funds: 1) Emerging Advocacy Fund – a $1,700,000 social impact fund to support technical assistance and staff capacity growth in anti-hunger field. 24 new third-party partnerships and 27 new staff positions established since Q3 2018. 2) Quick Reaction Fund, anti-hunger field’s first external facing campaign fund. Established in Q4 2017 at $300,000/year, the fund is used to rapidly respond to nutrition safety-net program threats through traditional and new media, brand raising, public policy and legislative advocacy and candidate engagement.Managed $4,000,000 social impact grants portfolio (sunsetted in Q1 2018) consisting of up to 215 multi-sector partners in nearly all 50 states, D.C. and Israel. Managed three-person team, local institutional and policy maker relationships on execution of new strategic plan; designed public facing collateral and communications. The launch of new funds resulted from two-year in-person environmental scan of hunger and poverty in 15 states to determine state specific investment strategies to solve hunger and its causes.

Managed and grew portfolio of more than 100 stakeholder investors accounting for more than $1,500,000 in operational and political funds, per year. Served as giving adviser to regional finance committee and managed congressional campaign relationships during 2010, 2012, and 2014 elections. Planned and executed large events and conferences in Southern California and Washington, DC to demonstrate increased political power and to train and educate stakeholders.

Directed national leadership engagement program. Worked closely with hundreds of leaders and fellow staff to cultivate and train stakeholders on the state-of-play in Middle East, US and international politics.Planned, staffed and executed four National Leadership Missions to Middle East. Worked with consultants on itinerary planning, recruitment, budgeting and logistics. Created stakeholder engagement program including special program track at national conferences and bi-monthly briefing calls with policy experts and government officials. Coordinated 25 person team responsible for the execution of five National Leadership Summits with between 80-200 participants.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Developed and managed portfolio of more than 60 individual donors and organizational leaders accounting for more than $360,000 general operating support in 2012. Served as political consultant and giving adviser to regional Political Finance Committee members in their political giving to JStreetPAC endorsed federal candidate.Successfully executed two major fundraising events: the first Washington, DC fundraiser for J Street grossing $36,000 and a fundraiser for then Senate candidate Tim Kaine totaling $50,000 in political support for his 2012 election. Portfolio included supporters in the Washington, DC Metro Area, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
