Wastewater tech: Operated the DAF (dissolved air flotation) wastewater treatment plant. Experience controlling pH with caustic and acid. Adjusted polymer and coagulant chemical feed pumps to react with the wastewater to create effluent water that met/exceeded guidelines set by the city. Accomplishments: decreasing chemical usage while also cutting back on sludge haul away - saving money in both areas. Rebuilt DAF whitewater centrifugal pump and pneumatic diaphragm pumps.Facility maintenance tech: Maintained facility of a SQF food processing plant.
