Hello Everybody! My name is Daniel! I am an individual who has a variety of talents and I wish to embrace them with new opportunities! I like to create affordable/accessible Computer Science educational content and entertainment. Most recently I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science at New College of Florida. In Canada, I was an Assistant Professor at St. Francis Xavier University in the Department of Computer Science, and among several other roles, I was a Faculty Lecturer for the Department of Computer Science for the University of Regina. I study Theoretical Computer Science (primarily algorithms, combinatorial optimization, and scheduling). Currently my focus is in approximation algorithms, hardness of approximation, and scheduling theory, and while not personally important to me, many of the problems I research have applications in Operations Research. I am an experienced instructor/educator that has worked and continues to work with people of all ages. This experience spans university teaching as a professor, faculty lecturer, limited-duties/sessional instructor, and a teaching assistant. In addition to this, I have extensive experience outside of academia as a science educator and tour guide, an after-school science program educator, a tutor, and working with children with special needs. I think education in the sciences are very important for all ages, and conveying these grand variety of ideas to the next generation is critical. I have more details of my research interests, and experience teaching or tutoring on my Personal Website, http://drpage.pagewizardgames.com/. If you are interested in my work, wish to consider any opportunities with me, or wish to do business with me, please let me know!Have a beautiful day!Specialties: Theoretical Computer Science, Computing, Mathematics, Teaching, Research, Game Development, Tutoring, Consultation, Programming, Graphic DesignNote: In my spare time I also have experience developing computer games, which is another independent task of mine. I also enjoy working on art when I get time, which is not too often.
