This program aligns with the DigCompEdu framework and has tremendous merit and relevance in modern education contexts. The MEC provides a top notch opportunity for educators everywhere to earn credentials to advance their careers, collaborate with world-class educators, and improve their quality of teaching and learning.

I am a Facilitator for Moonami’s MEC certification program and oversee its implementation. I've used Moodle for a number of years and am among the original Moodle Educator Certification facilitators. I have taught with Moodle at both the Masters and Doctoral level and have guided more than 30 MEC certified instructors at this point. My history teaching in K-12, Higher Education, and the Corporate arena enable me to work with a wide variety of instructors in diverse educational settings.

Moonami is a Moodle host & training company that offers a variety of services. One aslpect of my role is to review online courses for institutions and agencies to ensure proven educational practice, and to advise educators involved in online learning. I also work with educators who are learning to use Moodle with their students, or to help those who are familiar with it to enhance their sills.

I lead a district of approximately 1300 students and 200 staff, located just inside the Adirondack Park in the northern corner of Saratoga County.

Prior to joining the faculty at Sage as an adjunct in the Doctoral Program, I served as an Executive Coach to Doctoral Candidates and as a 3rd reader for dissertation defenses.
