I'm an economist, data analyst, and passionate researcher. I had fun burning out in academic economics, and now I'm happily applying my skills as an analyst for state government. I’m trained in statistics, econometrics, qualitative & quantitative research methods and I'm highly proficient using software packages including Excel, SAS, and R. While most people find an Excel spreadsheet to be the epitome of boredom and drudgery, I can honestly say I enjoy nerding out with a good data set and working with empirical models. Moreover, I love explaining data & models, especially translating technical issues & jargon so they can be understood by anyone.
