I was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps for HMLA-169, a light attack helicopter unit. I worked on AH-1W and AH-1Z cobras and UH-1N and UH-1Y hueys. I was a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance (CDQAR) which is the highest qualification achievable in the unit. As a CDQAR I was responsible for ensuring all maintenance was performed safely and properly.
