This role marked a transition from my previous position at Webitall to focus specifically on HallMonitor.I developed and maintained cloud and IoT/edge object detection and machine learning applications for detecting and counting people in Danish sports facilities across 40+ municipalities. The primary objective was to utilize data to optimize capacity, energy usage, and behavioural patterns within these facilities.I orchestrated the seamless integration and utilization of data from diverse sources including WINKAS, Conventus, BookByen, and Omega EMS. This involved orchestrating the comprehensive design and implementation of system architecture, encompassing database architecture, software architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud computing on AWS and GCP.Additionally, I developed frontend interfaces and cross-platform applications to ensure accessibility and user-friendliness across various devices and platforms.As a result of these efforts, the applications I led development on facilitated municipal decision-making regarding fund allocation to unions and clubs. Our product empowered stakeholders to make informed decisions about new investments, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of sports facility management across municipalities.
